Lesson Policies for Robinson Music Inc.
You or your child are about to take the first step to becoming part of the best
Private and Group Lesson program in Central Massachusetts. These lessons will
be taught by a highly trained professional music instructor. To foster and
maintain a good relationship between you and your instructor, we would ask that
you read and kindly adhere to the following policies. Once you have read our
policies you may click on the link below to start filling out the simple
Pre-registration form:
- At the first lesson a $35.00 registration fee is due. This is a one time fee as
long as lessons continue, and is only charged once per family. If a student
wishes to discontinue lessons at some point, you do have a 30 day grace period
to sign back up again without having to pay the registration fee again. Lesson
Fees are paid on a monthly basis and payment is due on the last lesson of each
month for the coming month. This allows the teacher and the store to reserve
your weekly time slot. Your lesson will take place on the same day and time
each week. The monthly amount is based on the number of scheduled lessons in
that month. A discount applies when you have two or more family members taking
lessons at Robinson Music Inc.. Please see attached payment chart that is also
posted in the store behind our front desk. Please note that other discounts
apply when your weekly lesson is 45 minutes or an hour. (See attached payment
chart as well)
- There are no excused abscences without a “Lesson Credit Voucher”. All lessons
must be paid for whether attended or not. If you are unable to attend a
scheduled lesson, a call to the store or your teacher as early as possible is
appreciated. This call, however, does not guarantee that a make up lesson will
be given. Make up lessons will be arranged ONLY at the discretion of the
teacher and in consideration of his/her schedule. Lesson Credit Voucher: Each
student is given “Two Lesson credit vouchers” per year for abscences, vacations
or emergencies. You must let the teacher know at least a week ahead of time
when you wish to use it as a vacation day. Other school vacations, half days or
closures other than national holidays have no bearing on lessons scheduled!
- If a teacher must cancel a lesson for a professional or personal commitment, a
make-up lesson will be arranged or if schedules conflict, a credit will be
applied. This also applies to lesson cancellations when the store closes due to
inclement weather. In these cases, the students will be notified by phone.
- There will be no charge and no lessons scheduled on National/Federal Holidays.
These are New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. These are the
ONLY holidays to which Robinson Music applies the NO CHARGE policy. State
holidays do not affect the lesson schedule.
I have read and agree to uphold to the terms explained in this
