Robinson Music's Summer Jazz Workshop

The Workshop will give you some examples of free jazz, bebop jazz, latin jazz, blues jazz and gospel jazz. They will talk about what is the distinctions between those styles and who pioneered those styles. They also touch on the technical aspects of playing duets. This will be an exciting event!
The events will be 2 hours in duration.
On July 26th 3-5pm & August 9th 1-3pm. Studio 19 in Robinson Music’s Lesson Center.

Lockwood has toured the U.S. and Europe with Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard,
Gary Burton, the Mel Lewis Big Band, and The Fringe. He has also performed with
the Buffalo Philharmonic, the Boston Pops, MIT Symphony, Pat Metheny, Dizzy
Gillespie, Woody Shaw, Toots Thielemans, Stan Getz, and Art Farmer.
