Summer School of Rock

Singers, guitarists, drummers, and bassists...work on group performance, rehearsal techniques, arranging music for an ensemble, and more while performing rock hits from today and yesterday. This ensemble will make a CD of their final performance at the conclusion of each session.

All students in this class must be currently taking lessons and recommended by a private instructor.

Drum Line

Get a taste of what a drum corps drum line is all about. We will rehearse for three hours a day... for five days and you will experience the power and precision of a well organized unit working on rudimental "chops". Then you will be performing the drum line solo for family and friends . . . AND you will get a recording of the performance. This will be a great experience for anyone entering marching band in the fall. The experience...priceless!

Summer Chamber Music Camp

Intensive Summer Camp for string and winds. Work on ensemble skills, rehearsal techniques, and sight-reading. Great for both students enrolled in orchestra and those without school music programs. Have fun learning a variety of musical styles!

All students must read music.
All students must have 1-2 years of private lessons or 2-3 years in school orchestra.

Children's Summer Singing Week

Does your child love to sing? Let your child improve his/her musical skills and memory through group singing. Our 5 – 7 yr old students will learn developmentally appropriate songs through echo singing. Students 8 – 9 yrs old will begin to learn songs from scores. Those who are interested may get a chance to sing solo.

No ability to read musical score necessary. Minimum: 6 kids/session
